Living the Murray Glen lifestyle......
The village has sprung to life and residents have been enjoying settling into their new homes and making the most of the social activities taking place. With a variety of outings, get togethers, games and fun taking place, all our residents are very happy with making the move to the village and looking forward to seeing the village grow.
Below is some photo's from some events that have taken place and some testimonials from residents on their view of the village.
Resident Testimonial:
I came to Tumut because I have a daughter living here. When she casually mentioned on the phone that a retirement village was being built here I was immediately interested.
I had been living in a retirement village in Adelaide for 5 years and loved the life style very much. Although we were completely independent it was like having a large extended family nearby. Why not make the move over near the family I thought so here I am.
My unit here is very similar to the one I left (but even more spacious) so I feel very much at home. I certainly didn’t have the wonderful views that I have now when I open the kitchen blinds each morning expecting to find a kangaroo or two nibbling the grass nearby.
It certainly is a wonderful life which I would recommend to anyone.

Resident Testimonial:
As residents of Murray Glen Village over the past five months we can recommend it to any couple, single lady or gent who may be finding the upkeep of their existing home and garden becoming a big worry.
The Villa’s are all that anyone can ask for in comfort and spaciousness, and with the knowledge that any problems (leaking taps) will be attended to, this gives us and other residents peace of mind.
The community centre also plays a big part in the village, attending to the social side of things, regular morning teas and movie afternoons, and also bus outings being arranged by the village manager. This alleviates the loneliness that can be part of some older persons lives, another big plus for seniors to consider the move.
